Get Help

Homeless (Age 18-24)

We work in partnership with De Paul UK and Places for People to look after the housing needs of young people in South Tyneside presenting as homeless or at risk of homelessness.

If you’re aged 18-24, homeless and in need of emergency accommodation, these people will be able to help:

  • Housing Solutions Service on 0300 123 6633 (after 5pm ring 0300 500 0914)
  • Consortium Young Person Co-Ordinator, Danielle Thomas, on 07966 743 226 (9am – 5pm)
  • Key Prevention/Intervention Manager, Dave Culley,  on 07702 541 033 or 0191 496 9713 (9-5 Mon to Thurs & 9-4.30 Fri)

If you’re worried about a young person who is homeless or at risk of homelessness, please email: advice@keycommunity.org.uk

Food Bank

If you need an emergency food parcel, either of the below organisations can refer you to our Key to Life Foodbank.

You can also ask for a referral from any organisation that’s already supporting you e.g. a charity, school or children’s centre or your GP.
