Family Intervention Officer

Hours: 37 hours per week with some evening and weekend work
Salary Band 2: £24,622.24 – £28,418.96 depending on experience
Contract type: 12 months fixed term (renewable by agreement & subject to funding)
Pension: employer’s contribution 6%, employees’ contribution 5% or match 6%
Holiday entitlement: 28 days + 8 days bank holidays

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Intervention Officer. The main goal of this role is to prevent family breakdowns by providing support to parents, carers, and children. You will be responsible for helping families address both short and long-term challenges, while working together to find practical solutions that reduce conflict and, in some cases, potential risks. Our ultimate aim is to ensure that children can continue to thrive in the comfort of their own family home. Additionally, you will work closely with parents to enhance their parenting skills and strengthen family relationships.
