Key Community Bus is proud to support enterprising students from Bamburgh School by welcoming them aboard to sell their wares
10CB pupils from Bamburgh School have taken their learning to the next level, turning a PATH (Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope) lesson project into a real-life business! What began as a short-term project quickly grew into a full-time enterprise, thanks to the students’ enthusiasm, creativity and drive.
The students decided to run a full-time stationery business, selling fun and colourful products to pupils and staff, to raise funds for extracurricular activities such as school trips and their Year 11 prom. Items for sale include bookmarks, pens and pencils plus, pencils, rulers, animal post it notes, available for individual sale or as a bundle. Click here to view price list.
Along the way, the pupils have developed valuable life skills essential for adulthood, including teamwork, financial literacy, problem-solving, communication, and adaptability. They have created their own logo, order forms, and even manned the shop themselves, gaining hands-on business experience and confidence.

Pupils will relish the chance to gain real-world business experience aboard the bus, taking turns so that every student gets the opportunity to experience selling to the public and engaging with the local community.
Hop aboard to support the students at our Sea View Primary School stop, fortnightly on Wednesdays, 1-2pm, from this week (Wed 14 Jan) until July. Every purchase helps them take one step closer to their goals while celebrating their initiative and hard work.
