At Key, many of our team continue to live in South Tyneside and are passionately dedicated to supporting the people and neighbourhoods they know best.
One of those team members is Elisabeth, a familiar face to many residents through our Key Community Bus. Wanting to go the extra mile for the people we support, Elizabeth has taken the initiative to organise a charity fundraising evening in aid of our Key to Life Foodbank.
The event, which takes place on Friday 18 September at Armstrong Hall, Stanhope Road, promises a fantastic evening of live music, bingo, a raffle, tombola, disco and refreshments, with all proceeds helping the foodbank continue its vital work across South Tyneside.
Elisabeth’s efforts reflect the commitment shown by staff across Key, many of whom give their time, energy and passion to supporting local communities both inside and outside of their day-to-day roles.
As preparations continue, we’re also appealing for raffle prizes and tombola donations from local businesses and members of the public. Donations of gift vouchers, hampers, unopened alcohol, toiletry gift sets, boxed chocolates and other new items would be greatly appreciated.
Tickets are priced at just £5, and everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy a great night, and help raise funds for a worthy local cause.
To purchase tickets or donate a prize, please drop us a DM on Facebook, call the foodbank on 07833 613 393, or visit our Key Community Bus.
Thank you to Elisabeth and everyone supporting this fantastic community fundraising effort.
** Event Update **
We would like to thank everyone who has shown support for this fantastic fundraising initiative.
To allow additional time for planning and preparation, the fundraising evening has been postponed until the new year. This will help ensure the event is the best possible experience for everyone involved.
We look forward to sharing the new date and further details in the coming months. Thank you for your continued support of Key Community and the vital work we do across South Tyneside.
