September: Pete Zulu – The Black Horse, East Boldon
Pete Zulu is the first chef to take part in Key Community Kitchen, bringing more than 20 years of experience in professional kitchens to the project.
Working alongside Key to Life Foodbank and All Saints Church, Cleadon, Pete has developed a collection of simple, affordable recipes designed to help people create nutritious meals at home using everyday ingredients.
Pete’s recipes focus on making cooking accessible, with practical ideas that are easy to follow, budget-friendly and full of flavour.”I’ve been thinking about recipes for meals and want to make them as simple as possible, but interesting, affordable, wholesome and tasty.”
Pete has generously volunteered his time and expertise to help create recipe videos and cooking guides that will support local individuals and families to build confidence in the kitchen.
Our next recipe demonstration featuring Romanos will be filmed in October.
